Veshagāraru
&
Hari-dāsaru

Carrying forward the timeless traditions of their forebears, these sacred artists known as "veshagāraru" (ones who put on costumes, enacting traditional plays) and "hari-dāsaru" (servants of hari) bring the wisdom of the saints directly into people's lives.

They go from home to home, singing traditional bhajans and abhangs of the dāsās (lineage of poet-saints), delivering spiritual enlightenment in its purest form.

Sacred
Haridāsas

Meet a devoted trio of Haridāsas — humble carriers of an ancient, vanishing tradition. From Lakshmeeshwara in Gadag, Karnataka, they travel far and wide — often on foot — singing sacred bhajans, abhangs, and kīrtanas at homes, temples, weddings, and festivals. They bring with them not just music, but centuries of spiritual wisdom, passed down through generations — uplifting hearts, stirring minds, and delivering divine presence through song. This selfless service is their only livelihood. And yet, in a changing world, their path grows harder, their reach thinner.

Listen to their divine abhangs and keertanas that carry the eternal wisdom of the poet-saints

Abhang – the Un-broken

Sant Vishnudas Abhang – Short 1
Sant Vishnudas sees Devi Renuka not just as goddess, but as the Mother Divine — rushing with care, sheltering like a Kalpavriksha to every soul in need.
Sant Samartha Rāmadāsa abhang – Short 2
This stirring abhang by Samartha Rāmadasa invokes the grace of Shri Rāma, whose name alone uplifts and purifies. Yet it also serves as a gentle warning — that without inner alertness, the divine will slip out of reach.

Dāsa Kīrtanas: Songs of the Servant-Saints

Kanakadāsa Kīrtana – Short 1
“Nee Māyeyolāgo” rises like a riddle to the cosmos — Kanakadasa’s poem becomes a mirror, where a soul questions illusion, seeking the Self amidst the shifting play of Māyā and the Eternal.
vedamurti jnānamurti bādarāyana – Short 2
This bhajan glorifies Vedavyāsa as Veda-murti, Jñāna-murti, and Nārāyaṇa — honoring the divine sage as the embodiment of vedas, wisdom, and divine consciousness.
